Tom is an orchestrator, arranger and conductor for film, television and theatre.

Orchestrator

Tom has orchestrated scores for film, TV, theatre,  and the recording studio involving everything from full symphonic forces to hybrid/synth-based scores.

 

Current projects include Hello Dolly and Crime and Punishment. Previous projects include Aspects of Love, Trap, Checkpoint Zoo, Lost Boys and Fairies, Midas Man, Scoop, Magpie, One Day, Miraculous, Mothers' Instinct, The Tutor, I.S.S., Our Universe, Dangerous Liaisons, Fate - The Winx Saga, Burial, The Mystery of Marilyn Monroe: The Unheard Tapes, Last Train to Christmas, True Things and many more. Tom is happy working in Logic, Pro Tools, Cubase, Dorico and Sibelius, and can orchestrate from audio, MIDI, short score or napkin doodle.

He has an extensive library of samples for MIDI mockups, and an excellent understanding of audio technology.

Conductor

Tom is an experienced musical director for orchestral recording sessions, and is known for delivering excellent results on schedule whilst maintaining good humour.

Tom has also worked extensively in the West End, including as the originating musical director for Tina: The Tina Turner Musical.

Tom can contract orchestras in London comprising the best UK-based session players, and can liaise with the top studios to facilitate projects of any size and budget. Tom also has extensive and long-standing links with Prague, and can facilitate and supervise recording sessions in Prague with some of the finest players Europe can offer.
